Aside from teaching, the trip itself was quite the journey. We were fortunate enough to fit all of our
lesson planning and traveling into our short trip. We got the chance to shop at 鹿港 , play at Tom’s World, eat
at aesthetic restaurants, make a custom nut DIY hosted by the 鳳霞國小 as a lovely thank you gift, and host
bonding games like WIPEOUT and Mafia to help our members become acquainted with one another.
Concluding our journey, we believe that both our members and our students really enjoyed this special
experience. Originally, we thought that the kids wouldn’t have learned much, but towards the end, we noticed
them starting to catch on and use the phrases in their daily conversations.
