IBSH Mr. Conor Morrison
Hello Everyone! My name is Conor Morrison, and I will
be returning to IBSH to teach high school English this year! I
am originally from Canada but teaching has brought me all over
the world, teaching here in Taiwan, the Middle East, and South
America. I am so excited to be back, and I look forward to a
great year! See you around the hallways!
IBSH Mr. Martin Keough
Dear IBSH Community,
My name is Martin Keough, and I am thrilled to join IBSH this year
as a Western Social Studies teacher for Grades 6, 10, and 12. I grew up in
northeast Ohio, along Lake Erie, but have spent most of the past fifteen years
living, studying, and working outside the United States: in Russia, Scotland,
Kazakhstan, Thailand, Ethiopia, and Taiwan, in roughly that order. For the last
five years, I have lived in Hsinchu.
I hold degrees in political science, Russian and Central Eurasian studies,
international relations, and education, and I am currently pursuing an Ed.D. in
leadership with a focus on curriculum. I hold professional teaching licensure
in ESOL (K-12), Elementary Education, and Social Studies (6-12), and I have
happily taught across most grade levels in my professional experience.
Outside of school, I love to read science fiction, play guitar, study
languages, play board games, and otherwise find as much time as I can
to spend with my wife and our two goofy orange cats. I look forward to
partnering with students, families, and colleagues for a purposeful year of
learning and growth for all.
