We rode on a
bus and got to the egg farm. First we saw ostriches. We gave them
plants. We played with baby chicks. I touched the baby chicks. They
were very stinky. We ate snack, we made salt eggs. We had fun.

On Wednesday,
October 16, 2002, my class and I went to an egg farm. There we had
fun feeling chicks, gathering eggs, feeding ostriches, making salted
eggs, eating chicken soup. We also caught mud fish and painted eggs.
It was so fun!

On the field
trip, we touched little chicks, and picked eggs. Then we painted
eggs, and put mud on the eggs. Then we ate lunch and we saw ostrich
and fed them. Then we went on the bus. Some people ate snacks and
some people sat on the bus. Some people played game boy.

The second grade
class went to the egg farm. First got on the bus. On the way there
we saw trees, grass, and cliffs. We fed ostriches. Then petted the
baby chicks. Then we picked the smooth eggs. Then we made saltie
eggs. After we washed our hands, we went to a hotel and saw ducks,
fish, turtles, and bugs. Inside were people. Then we went to our
room. We went to catch mudfish. We all had lots of fun. Then we
got wet. Then we put on our dried clothes. Then we went to paint
eggs. It was the best I think. Then it was time to go on the bus.
Kristen had her game boy. Then the bus drove all the way home.

 Second
grade was in this true story. We went to the egg farm. On that Wednesday,
we fed the ostriches. We saw chicks and played with them. We caught
some fish. They were very slippery. Clement caught a mudfish it
slipped out of his hand. We made salted eggs. We also liked to take
eggs from the chickens. My mom got an egg that just fell from the
chicken. The egg was a little hot for my mom. I painted an egg.
My mom had a nice pretty egg that she painted. Then the day was
over. I took the bus back to the school with my friends. I stayed
at the playground to wait for my mom. It was a fun day. I want to
go there again.

 On
the day of field trip, only second grade went. But we still got
Chinese lesson before. After it, Kristen's mother came in and handed
out our name tags so we wouldn't get lost. At nine o'clock, we went
on the bus. It wasn't that long to go to the egg farm. I sat with
Anna on the bus. When we arrived, we got off the bus. A young woman
took us up a hill, and went to feed the ostriches with leaves. Then
she took us to pick eggs from the chickens. Then we became hungry,
so she took us to drink chicken soup. After it, we went to play
with mudfish. Sandra and I didn't want to get wet, so we played
on the table. Then we went to make salted eggs. We went to paint
eggs. Finally our trip was finished and we said "Good bye"
to her then we went up the bus, and we went back to our school.
Then our parents came and picked us up.

The second grade
class went on a field trip. When we got to the egg farm, we picked
three eggs. We colored the egg, and went in the water to get mudfish.
We did sort eggs. We touched little chicks and fed ostriches. I
had a fun time. And we went back to the school.

We painted

my paint was good but it was ugly. And I caught five mudfish.

We went to
the egg farm. It was fun there. We ate lunch, caught mudfish, painted

saw a big grasshopper, and ducks, ostriches, chicks, and a turtle.
I was in Leo's mother's group. My group had Jerric, Leo, and myself.

On Wednesday,

On October
16, 2002, my second grade friends and I went on a field trip. I
liked to pet the baby chicks. I liked to feed the ostriches. Most
of all I like to catch the mudfish. I felt so safe with my mother.
She helped me pick fresh eggs. I ate a lot of snacks on the bus.
And we made salted eggs. My mom and I painted eggs too.

painted eggs after viewing many beautiful eggs on exhibit in the
farm's museum. They also got to fish for mudfish.
