時序來到三月份,日本千葉縣船橋高校師生再度來到臺灣,為兩校一年一度的科學研究交流進行蒞校訪問。船橋高中是日本千葉縣立科學高校,該校期望藉由兩校學生相互展現科學研究的成果,達到兩國科學資優學生彼此觀摩與切磋的目的。

一早船橋高校師生一行30人便抵達學校,由高二4班全體學生擔任接待班級。在溫馨的歡迎儀式之後,船橋高校學生跟著高二4班入班上課。首先登場的是王貞慧老師的英文課,在未來教室的加持下,課堂氣氛熱絡。第二節應用生物課程,則在揭維邦老師的帶領下,前往靜心湖進行賞鳥課程。雖然天氣不佳,但這難得的機會仍使臺日雙方學生獲益良多。下午則由雙方學生輪流進行發表,高一4及高一5的學生也到場觀摩。高二4班以數學、物理、化學及生物四科,分科報告專題研究成果。而船橋高校的學生也使出渾身解數,將本年度的研究報告展現在實中學生眼前。透過這次難得的經驗,臺日雙方學生都從對方身上學習到許多,也見識到對方在科學研究上所下的工夫,一場精彩的學術研討交流,為彼此的交流行程增添絢爛的光彩。

對於專題報告的部分我覺得我們可以再多加練習,因為報告自己同學都聽不懂了更何況是日本的同學,另外他們的準備非常得充裕,我覺得這方面我們能多學習。

 

 

高二4班 王俊霖

這次與日本人交流的機會十分珍貴,實際體驗了日本的文化,與在電視上或網路上看過的日本節目相比,更覺得真實,也了解到他們並沒有與我們想像中差異那麼地大,進而添了幾分親切感,最大的收穫則在於即使遠隔東海,我也仍能找到擁有相同興趣的同好,彼此也十分聊得開,讓人能確信「四海之內皆朋友」絕無虛言。在此次活動中,我深刻感受到語言能力的重要性,在真正與人英語會話時,對方不會是有如教科書般的標準發音,其中也參雜著各地的口音,使原本英文就不甚佳的我,更時常遇到聽不懂的字詞,而造成溝通上的障礙,但比起語言能力,勇敢地開口、嘗試與對方交流更為重要,語言僅是橋梁,有踏上去的勇氣才算真正起步。此外,作為待客的一方,我覺得缺乏了對日本一些風土民情的了解,以午餐為例, 或許更應考慮日本人不慣吃辣,而考慮不同的餐點,如果更加提前作些功課,或許就能給對方一次更舒適的體驗。

 

高二4班 朱紹瑜

這次的交流活動適逢我們完成自己的科展作品之際,恰巧能了解日本的同學們做研究的情形,是個不錯的機會。漫步於諸多作品介紹海報之間,偶爾佇足聆聽口頭的介紹,我發現雙方對科學研究略有不同的見解。對我們而言,我們大多會希望能了解科學現象,並在實驗中構想出一個適合解釋該現象的理想模型,但對於日本的同學而言,他們比較傾向在實驗中為自己的疑問尋找解答,兩者說不上優劣。對我們的想法而言,或許聽起來較宏偉,但以現今的見識來看,多心有餘而力不足,反而是他們的概念比較符合科學研究的初衷。回想起去年的此時,以學弟妹的身分參與此活動,聆聽著日本同學的研究報告,諸多學術用語參雜在流暢卻聽得不甚清晰的報告中,讓我對這一次面對面和日本同學們交談心生畏懼。沒想到,坐下來,從自我介紹說起,一字一句慢慢的說,慢慢的聆聽,了解彼此的話語並不是件難事。比起平時,此刻並不必擔心文法及用詞的錯誤,只要能用英語表達,並達到讓雙方了解的效果,便是個良好的溝通。國際交流,原來可以那麼簡單。

 

 

 

高二4班 許予昀

在聽報告時明顯可以看到日本學生強烈的求知慾,非常投入於相當困難的報告內容,甚至會後仍積極的參與討論,看到他們不斷地詢問與查詢字典,讓我深刻感覺到這樣的求知慾是台灣的學生應該學習的。而在英文課時,我們擁有語言方面的優勢,更應該幫助他們更加了解課程內容,與他們一同參與、了解學習單要告訴我們的知識,在這點可以再進步,讓交流更加活絡。此次的交流令我獲益良多,看見的自身的優勢與不足,與日本船橋高中學生互動拓展了我的國際觀,了解世界上不同國家的高中生都努力在為自己的未來學習,著實激勵了台灣的莘莘學子。

 

高二4班 陸宇祺

和不同國家的人討論聊天,能夠了解的遠遠不只是他們的文化。船橋高校的學生看事情的焦點與我們不盡相同,所以我們在討論的過程中,往往可以互相改進,看到自己所看不見得缺失。我們在學校,就算再英文課也很少跟別人完全使用英文對話,而面對不懂中文的日本人,便不得不如此。這一個特別的交流經驗,可以說是在各方面都讓我獲得了許多經驗與收穫。

I’m happy to see you and exchange our ideas! It was my first time to tell about our research to students in Taiwan, so I worried about speaking English and our communication skill. But students of NEHS are really friendly and cheerful when they talk to us. Thanks for your welcome, I enjoyed this exchange! English class was difficult for me, but you help me to understand, so I enjoyed the class. Biology class was very pleasant! But the weather was not so good, so I want to do it again in sunny day. And I heard that the park’s lake light up at night and it is very beautiful. I want to visit there at night! In the presentation time, your research topics were very interesting! But your speech was a little fast, so I can understand only titles and the first half of your researches. I’m sorry not to understand well. Last, our presentation, I’m very happy because you listened to our presentation eagerly. I had good time to grow up my skill. Thank you for your kindness!

I was glad and surprise at your warm welcome. Before arriving at NEHS, I was nervous to think about my presentation, students of NEHS and English and biology lessons. But these fears disappeared when I met students of NEHS. All of them are so kind and very good at English. I so became happy with them soon. I especially enjoyed bird watching. There was few birds, but I enjoyed talking with students. And milk tea with tapioca was so delicious. But that size was too big for me. Your English level is very high, while my English level was very low. So I’m sorry, but I couldn’t understand your presentation. If possible, I want you to speak English more slowly. When we did poster presentation, all of you listened to it very carefully and tried to understand our researches. That was very happy. I want to model you. I enjoyed special time with students of NEHS. Thank you very much to give me a wonderful opportunity.

I was very happy to see you! You are so friendly, that we can communicate easily. I was very surprised at your English level. It was very high so I felt that I need to study English harder. However, I enjoyed our communication! Your presentations were also great! I didn’t understand all of your presentations, but they were very interesting! I wanted to look at your presentation more! The lunch and the juice were very delicious! I was satisfied! Thank you very much!
