IBSH 雙語部 Ms. Erica Ro
Hi, my name is Erica Ro and I’m a returning
elementary teacher at IBSH. This year, it’s my joy and honor
to teach third grade. I love working with students and seeing
them grow. I am often found with cup of tea in my hands,
which my students love to point out. My husband is also a
teacher at IBSH, and our twin daughters attend school here
too. Fun fact: I’m also an IBSH alumni! It’s wonderful to be
a teacher, parent, and alumni at our IBSH community. It’s
great to be back!
IBSH 雙語部 Mr. James Ro
My name is James Ro, and this is actually my 2nd time working at
IBSH! This time, I am serving as both a math teacher and teaching and
learning coordinator. My wife, Erica, is also returning as a teacher in 3rd
grade, and our two twin girls are both in 4th grade at this school. I most
recently taught in the US, and I am now excited to be in this role and to
be helping support both students and teachers at the school. My favorite
thing about Taiwan is its tea drink culture. I will always say yes to a tea
drink. Some things I enjoy doing are playing sports, cooking, exploring
restaurants, playing music, and being creative. The best part about being
a teacher, aside from the winter and summer breaks, is interacting with
students. I'm looking forward to this year!
IBSH 雙語部 Ms. Janetta Keinicke
My name is Janetta Heinicke and I am new to Taiwan though not
to teaching internationally. I started teaching in 1984 and have taught
in 9 different countries, from New Entrants through 6th Grade, Art and
Humanities.
My Master’s Degrees is in Multicultural Education and for my
Bachelor’s
Degree I majored in both Elementary and Art Education.
I enjoy playing games, listening to music, painting, drawing and all
forms of visual arts, scuba diving and snorkeling, reading, cooking, and
travel and am very happy to at IBSH.
