An elementary science fair was held in the gym on Wednesday, March 18, 2009. All students of grades 4, 5, and 6 were divided into 50 groups, and they designed a scientific project and showed their data in the fair. Teachers and the parents, totally 47 adults participated as a judge to evaluate the students’ work. Dr. David Brown, the Executive Director of WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) also toured the site, as he paid the visit to IBSH that day. Informative talks between the student and the judge went on around the gym. Oral presentations, question asking and student discussion made the science exhibition educational and effective.
