IBSH 雙語部 Brandon Varco 法本燈 老師

I’m Brandon Varco and I teach 6th grade humanities. I was
born and raised in upstate New York and graduated with
a bachelor of arts in English from Binghamton University
and a master of arts in Education from the University at
Albany. This is my third time teaching in IBSH, but my
first time as a full time teacher. I have previously taught in
Dalian, China and Upstate New York and this will be my
7th year teaching. As a lover of philosophy and farming, it
has always been my goal as a teacher to teach balance and
sustainability and to help students find their own balance
between the theoretical and practical as well as conflict and
comfort. Other hobbies of mine include sports (badminton
and softball), photography, music, writing, and games.

IBSH 雙語部 Mr. Kennth Flynn 費肯尼 老師

My name is Kenneth Flynn. I’m from London, U.K. I
graduated from the University of Kent’s BSc. Physics
program, and went on to get an MSc. in Applied Physics
research. I worked in industrial research for a few years
before getting into teaching. I have been teaching Physics
in international schools for the last 30 years in Mexico,
Thailand, Turkey, Taiwan, China, and Singapore. I am very
happy that Taiwan’s borders have finally opened so that I
can teach my students face to face rather than online which
as we all know is far from ideal.

帆，畢業於國立中央大學地球物理研究所。喜歡運動、
打球、吃美食！歡迎大家揪團一起來運動，運動完在愉
快地去吃美食 ~ ！
很開心也很幸運能成為實驗大家庭的一份子！在
這裡一年多的日子中，感受到
自由開放的校風，遇到許多活潑積極的同學，還
有很多孜孜不倦的老師們！都是讓我不斷努力進步的
動力！期許自己能將地球科學的美好帶給生命中遇到
的每一個人。
