2017 NEMUN 實中模擬聯合國會議

十多年前，校長黃芳芷女士時任雙語部主任，與幾位有志一同的熱血教師創辦HSINMUN: Hsinchu Model United Nations，為國內高中辦理模擬聯合國會議之濫觴。至去年（2016年）辦理時，已邁入第十二屆。HSINMUN每年吸引全國優秀高中生齊聚本校參與模擬聯合國會議，為高中學生接觸國際議題與英文學習的一大盛會。

2014年，本校高中第30屆林叡均、王可昕同學，有鑑於一般模聯會議採全英文方式進行，使部分對國際議題有興趣、想參與模聯會議，卻因英語門檻阻絕在外的同學不得其門而入，自發辦理EMUN模聯會議，採中文會議與英文會議雙軌並行方式，吸引全國上百位高中同學至本校參與活動；2015年，高中第31屆的白靖遠、蔡育瑞同學，以當時「熱血青年社」社長及副社長的身分接手第二屆EMUN，同樣以中文、英文雙會議形式辦理，再度吸引全國近百位同學參加。

105學年度，高中第33屆呂若慈、沈薏寧同學與一群對國際議題及英語學習充滿熱情同學，連署創立「模擬聯合國社團」，利用社團時間進行模聯會議規則認識與演練，並主動提出繼續辦理EMUN之意願。由於EMUN名稱已有其他學校使用多年，經討論後，本活動改名為NEMUN重新出發，為National Experimental High School Model United Nations。若慈與薏寧身為社長及副社長，同時擔任NEMUN活動的祕書長與副秘書長。經考量評估後，今年NEMUN採用歐洲議規，每個委員會設定兩個議題：

Human Rights Council (HRC)	(101) Promoting and protecting the LGBTQ+ equal rights and eliminating the related discrimination
	(102) The problem of black-sites worldwide and the human rights violation thereof
General Assembly 1: Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC)	(201) The issue of the regulation of private military contractors
	(202) The issue of foreign military bases in sovereign countries
United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)	(301) The issue of offshore financial centres and offshore companies thereof
	(302) The issue of the rise of protectionism worldwide
United Nation Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC)	(401) The issue of legalization and decriminalization of Cannabis around the world, and the curb of illicit trade thereof
	(402) Transnational operations of human trafficking with focus on sexual exploitation

2017 NEMUN 實中模擬聯合國會議於3月11-12日舉行，吸引全國約120位高中同學齊聚風城，一同探討國際議題，提出可能的解決方案，藉此提升英文能力、開拓國際視野。會議第一天，特別邀請均一教育平台執行長呂冠緯先生，為同學帶來精彩的主題講座：為世界帶來正面影響力！相信每一位參加的同學，都有豐足的收穫：讓自己成為一個更溫暖、關心社會、關心眾人的人，一起為更好的社會與國際關係而努力。
